I am a 51 year old who had two children 26 years ago. Prior to the laser treatment I was unable to go for walks, sneeze, cough, drive for any length of time without being incontinent. I was considering bladder repair surgery but did not want to have surgery. The laser treatment was a great experience. The staff were very professional and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. Following the first laser treatment I noticed a huge difference within the first week. I was able to walk and even jog when taking my dog for a walk. There is no pain associated with the treatment. I did feel a little "crampy" for a day after the first treatment. The whole experience has been very beneficial and I would recommend it to anyone.
It is a relief to be able to sneeze without having to stop and cross my legs in fear I might leak! I am able to return to work the next day. No need for a long recovery period! Great support and explanations by Dr. Nascu, Dr. Hillyer, and Dr. Woods. Always informed me as to what was happening and what I could expect!
Due to wait times in London, ON I decided to venture outside of the city. I am so glad I did. I was booked an appointment and when I started to have increased complications, I was able to get in even sooner to see her. It would be easy to say that she is indifferent but she listens to all concerns, asks probing questions for enhanced understanding, admits when she isn't sure and then researches the options to point herself in the right direction. The care I received was exemplary from the initial booking and appointment, through to the booking for the surgery and her presence the day of surgery. She made the time to check in on me in the pre-op area when I was getting hooked up for iv's, time spent with me immediately prior to entering the surgical suite and immediately after the surgery. The follow up appointment was at the same high caliber and I highly recommend her.
