Dr. Patricia Nascu
Dr. Patricia Nascu
Dr. Nascu has worked well over 10 years as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Stratford. In the past 8 years she had pursued her interest in laser therapies of both gynecological and non-gynecological concerns. She has joined the Rotary Club of Stratford and is keenly involved in environmental causes, the farm-to-table movement and a big supporter of the arts in the community. She has started a Plastic Bag Recycling project and is running workshops teaching others how to transform single use plastic bags into useful objects.
Throughout the spring and summer of 2020 Dr. Nascu and The Rotary Club of Stratford have partnered with Huron Perth Public Health and she has coordinated the volunteers for all the mass vaccination clinics in Huron Perth, managing hundreds of volunteers and ensuring that the patients flow was smooth and efficient. She also administered hundreds of COVID-19 vaccines herself, both in the mass vaccination clinics and in the community outreach ones. Her efforts were recognized with the Stratford Optimism Place First Responders Woman of the Year Award.
Dr. Nascu’s path of life-long learning has now lead her to a new focused are of practice. Her philosophy is centered on individualized care tailored on each patient's particular situation. While her Obstetrics and General Gynecology practice is now closed, Dr. Nascu continues to provide non-invasive treatments for stress urinary incontinence and vaginal relaxation, therapies for benign skin lesions, excessive sweating, hair loss and scars. She utilizes new modalities, like laser, platelet-rich plasma and neurotoxin injections and she collaborates with trained and experienced professionals to help you achieve your goals.
Judy Gardiner
Judy Gardiner, Nurse Practitioner
Judy has been a nurse since 2004, and most recently she has been a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and Heart Failure. Judy’s great passion, and the reason she has become certified in Headache Medicine, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia, and Menopause, is health optimization. Medications are important but so is how we live, how we think, how we support each other. Many of her approaches take the patient’s lifestyle and goals into account when developing the best approach to boosting their health. She collaborates well with patients who want to learn and implement lifestyle changes. She also knows personally and recognizes that life often makes reaching our goals challenging and that most of us are cyclic when it comes to the consistency required.
Judy enjoys cross-country mountain biking, backwoods camping, spending time with friends and family and reading. If you have any great book recommendations, she is all ears. She even runs a book club and a graphic novel/movie club. She also loves dogs including her 7-lb Chinese Crested Hairless named Lola and her neighbour’s Golden Retriever, Rosie. She is often heard remarking, “dogs teach us what it means to love.” Autumn is her favourite time of year and she’ll often post a crazy make-up she’s done for Halloween.
